How to Flash the Firmware of Huawei B890 WebCube or Gateway

Huawei‘s B890 WebCube (Gateway) is unlockable. I have already unlocked B890-75 Drei (3) webcube of Austria using FMC unlocker. But, Zain B890-75 comes with customized firmware and there it does not accept the unlock code. May be, this firmware will be able to unlock your B890-75 of Zain carrier, however we have personally not test and I am not responsible of any harm of your device.

In this post, I will share the instruction of firmware updating and download link of firmware (link is provided at the end of the article).

How to Change / Flash the Firmware of Huawei B890 WebCube (Gateway) ?

1. Download the firmware update from the link.
2. Now double click on the downloaded file to run it.
Running the Firmware of Huawei B890 WebCube or Gateway3. Click on “Check” to check the currently installed version.
Check Firmware version of B890 Router4. Now click on “Upgrade”. The update will start and the WebCube begins to flash.
Upgrade - Huawei B890 Firmware5. Once the update is complete, the WebCube will restart. Modules which is compatible to your device will be updated, and which are not compatible will be not updated in this processes and will be unchanged.
Firmware B890 Finish6. The update is now complete. You can use your B890-75 WebCube in the usual way. You need to do the setting again.
Note : Firmware update is risky and it may corrupt your device. Do it at your own risk. Also, before starting the process, make sure your device and laptop are connected to constant power supply / UPS.

How to Get Windows 10 Start Menu in Windows 8.1 And Windows 7

We all love beautiful interface of Windows and keep installing freewares from the internet. In Oct 2010, Microsoft has released its Windows 10 Technical Preview and developers started updating the software to made it compatible. In this post, we will share a third party apps, the ViStart, that changes the Windows 8.1 / Win 8 and Win 7 start menu look like Windows 10.

How to install ViStart and Get Windows 10 Start menu skin in Win 8.1 / 8 / 7
1. Visit the download link and get a free copy of ViStart.
2. Install it in PC and download the Windows 10 Start menu skin.
3. Extract the downloaded RAR file using WinRAR, WinZip, PeaZIP, 7-Zip or any another third party apps in a folder.
4. Inside the extracted folder, you will get a folder named as Neuer Ordner. Open it and you will get two folders : “Windows10Startmenunew forxpvistaand7” and “Windows10Startmenunewfor win8and8.1”.
5. Copy the “Windows10Startmenunew forxpvistaand7” for Windows 7 (if you are running Windows 7) or “Windows10Startmenunewfor win8and8.1” for Windows 8.1 / 8 (if you are running Windows 8.1 / 8) to ViStart’s skins folder.
Note : To quickly access the skins folder of ViStart, type %appdata%\ViStart\_skins in Run command box and press Enter.

ViStart Language Folder7. Open the Neuer Ordner folder and copy the English.xml file and replace the ViStart English.xml file.
8. You will get a window “Replace of Skip File”.

10. Now, run the ViStart program again, if it is already running then then kill from taskbar. While running, you will see ViStart icon in the system tray. Click on it and then click Options. If you not able to get the ViStart program then in Run box type %appdata%\ViStart and press Enter. You will get ViStart application.

11. Right click on ViStart Icon from the notification bar and click options.
